why would someone who's already been crowned king need to follow orders from his subordinates? The only orders he will follow are orders from his superiors (the capitalists who pay him).

No, the congress and senate are the ones doing that. Name one major thing they've successfully checked the executive branch from doing in the past 20 years; perhaps I'm mistaken, but I can't think of a single thing.
