Vegetables mostly grow themselves, if that helps.

They do not, however, harvest themselves.

So you would have to sell the harvest rights on a per season basis.

Not sure how that is much different from renting real estate to someone.

One might say, comrade, the most passive (least effortful) non-exploitative income is good hard labor towards one's immediate needs, comrade, since it bypasses the exploitation wrought by employer-employee relations, comrade.

Comrade.

I might be wrong but I don’t think there’s truly such thing. The only passive income I know of is because capital self generates, and if you have capital you probably know about that. It’s not very difficult to sell capital, it basically sells itself. Also it’s inherently exploitative.

“Passive” income as sold to people without capital usually requires a lot of labor and annoyance for a small paycheck. Basically just a job, setting up a million phones to watch ads on or whatever.

cryptocurrency investments. they will destroy the environment, but not much faster than it would be otherwise imo.

Although, you have to wonder, if you are getting income from doing nothing, and income is only useful to purchase the labor of those who have no income but from their labor, isn't money itself exploitative at that point? There isn't a "non exploitative" capitalism, even in micro scale.

Many types of art can become passive income...just not that much. Most types of "work" do not create passive income opportunities. I'd say build a life that needs less income at all...preferably outside of large cities. Much easier that way.

Not sure if phone farming is still a thing? I've also heard of people really taking advantage of checking account and credit card sign-up bonuses, which come from banks, yay! (And contributes to horrid things the more money you have the account/the more you spend I suppose, which I guess would be something to balance)

The best (but difficult) IMO would be a grifty, computer-generated YouTube channel, reap ad revenue.

Make one animated video with certain models, then automatically swap out models to pop out 30 videos of the same thing for kids. Toddlers love these channels, give them hundreds of thousands of views.

Or maybe take some dataset to autocreate videos— I saw this one channel that used a database of names and just made a video on "how to pronounce" every name. Used a speech synth for every name lol, still got a huge amount of views.
