i have a very elaborate system of direct messaging which extends quite far and includes a number of nodes. Raddle is my only social media, because it is willing to take precautions and operate under a trustless model (.onion service, data policy and hosting, lack of need for JS, etc) that essentially all other sites are designed to violate. however, projects i have a few degrees of separation with use all the typical social media corporate bullshit that is in their area. This is the part of the network which contains the most nodes, because through these fronts and filters i am able to communicate with a wide array of people who are still on the corporate internet.

This hybrid model seems to work well, but it also keeps me very insulated from people being able to find or talk to me when i want to burn an identity and disappear. Which has happened periodically, usually sometime before or after...how might you say, raid-o-clock? for the part of the world i am in at the time.
