Generally, if its not too much effort I'll vote for at least someone leftist-ish. There's a lot of politicians here with ties to actual overt neo-Nazi groups so I unsuccessfully try to at least keep them out of office for the sake of absolutely everyone.
But the extent to which I support the candidates is when I walk into the poll booth through when I walk out. Couldn't give a shit about them, just want the Nazis out.
I don't know, but I do. I figure that the outcomes of elections have the potential to affect the material conditions under which we live, sometimes in small ways, sometimes in large ways. And I don't believe that this is particularly less predictable than any other social/political happening. So I do try to vote.
