Also - mailing books to infoshops is something I'm surprised isn't more common. It's a great way to support destroying civilization anarchism even if you don't live anywhere near an infoshop.

Anyone want to compile a list of international infoshop contact details so people can send them books? We can add it to the wiki.

I'm interested in this question too!

I think the answer will depend on what the immediate issues and context of the place are.

But also the best books you could get are the books the infoshop collective asks for.

I suspect people would be more willing to support an infoshop if it lets them get their personal fave books in front of eyeballs instead of the generic dead-white-man workerist stuff most infoshops promote.

If an infoshop asked me for a box of Post-Scarcity Anarchism by Murray Bookchin, I wouldn't be very motivated to create more Bookchinites, but if I could send them a box of Desert by anonymous, I'd feel like I was actually doing something worthwhile.

Desert

I might have a way to get copies of Desert printed here cheaper than if I got them direct from any supplier, so I'm gonna have a look into that for my own purposes.
I might want to try to find a way to print it together with critiques.

Active have a new edition that's printed as cheaply as possible and even with postage comes out at a good price

I guess then the ideal middle ground would be if the infoshop sent a substantial list of books they wanted and you could pick from the list.

I wouldn't want to support an infoshop that was Bookchinite :)

Yeah that would work and if the list is shit just impove it for them with some bonus books.

I'd support bookchinites if they agreed to stock anticiv stuff. It's not about the politics of the people running the shop, it's just an opportunity to get propaganda in front of eyeballs. And counter the bookchinite propaganda.

But then again bookchinites would prob burn all the evil prim books u send.

Howl of Dynamite , a 'best of' of Novatore's writing, beautifully put together by, uh-oh, Little Black Cart, could really blow minds. I remember first reading his stuff back when I was red and I just couldn't believe what I was reading. I'm not exaggerating when I say I've never been the same since.

Howl of Dynamite is a great name.

I haven't enjoyed what I've read of Novatore's stuff though.
