there are anarchists which also see the value of marxist critique of capitalism. I would count myself among them. The important thing is just to see the inherent limitations of a self-described incomplete body of work. Which tankies, they literally just ignore the fact that Das Kapital is unpublished and a lot of the work obviously ignores major areas of concern for revolutionaries, and then they fill in the gaps with bullshit reactionary stuff drawn from the horrible society we are surrounded by.

To reference the least terrible of the New Atheists, it's kind of like Dawkins' conception of religious fundamentalists w/r/t the "god of the gaps" concept. Tankies just fill in the gaps in their sacred texts with the worst aspects of society they already live in, causing their own political movements to recapitulate what the ostensibly claim to oppose, just like religious fundamentalists who scream about "sin" while enabling pedophiles to claim the highest offices of power.

Frankly, marx and engel's writings don't touch on the future very much. Which ties into the other post I made on /f/Anarchism today, about the importance of having a future which you want to work towards. That's a major criticism I have of authoritarian/statist communists.
