In the past, anti-Chinese sentiment in Hong Kong tended to be anti-Communist if not explicitly pro-capitalist. But it is very telling that this youth group and party states on its homepage that “we push for the city’s political and economic autonomy from the oppression of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and capitalist hegemony.” This reflects the enormous changes that have taken place in both mainland China and Hong Kong in the 22 years since the handover.

Though socialist, I am not authoritarian! Statist shills do not impress me. And Chinese nationalism, doesn't seem to give argument to a cause! I wonder where the brutalization of a younger generation will leave the future of that territory.
