I like the coin defacing thing. Seems hard though; I wonder if there were just bored anarchists spending hours carving into coins.
Looked it up. Seems there were. Basically you can get jewelry engraving punches and hammer each individual letter into the coin. Probably would take about two-three minutes per coin once you're good at it.
Well actually that is just how the suffragettes did it, the anarchists seem to have some kind of a stamp? Depending which one you look at, it looks engraved/stamped or like the writing is raised. So I don't know what to think there.
