I have food and a roof over my head for me and my family so right now it's about freeing my mind and learning not to desire all the trinkets and other commercial crap that capitalism keeps shoving in my face 24/7.

Why not both. There is this really cool Ursula K. le Guin quote that I use as a guiding principle. "Happiness is based on a just discrimination of what is necessary, what is neither necessary nor destructive, and what is destructive."

I feel like I've gotten to a point where I can start to focus less on my mind and more on action. I've finally been able to start development on a project that I've been thinking about for some time, that will hopefully help further the anarchist principles when it's finished (and fuck does it feel good to finally do something other than thinking and talking).
