Aerial reconnaissance people about horizontal practices in the army, elected commanders, grassroots cooperation, misunderstanding of hierarchy and more

We continue our series of interviews with soldiers supported by the Solidarity Collectives @sol_col .

During our trip to the East, we met with a group of Kharkiv-based aerial reconnaissance men and women who were active in the community before the war: they participated in student protests and environmental movements, organized feminist and anti-building actions, organized sports and then military training. In 2014, they set up a squat to shelter refugees from the occupied territories and hold educational events.

This conversation is about the path they have overcome.
