I tried to follow-up on this, the only thing is that the caption is possible misleading people into thinking that Mexico have passed the right for abortion when this is not true, the only thing was decriminalizing the abortion. It's weird to think that any latin american country are more social liberal than the USA right now.

México, like the USA is a federalist country so each state have different allowances, some of them only contemplate the right for rape cases or under 12 weeks.

The protests are true though, they are one of the most impressive Feminist movements currently

Edit: the op there, @ProtestaBloc even said themselves:

Does this mean abortion is legal in Mexico? No. They are still fighting for rights but this was a huge step in that direction. A historic one.
