I mean like I've listened to Carlin and I get this tho maybe it's just due to the age difference but I don't find him horrible and get why he's a anarchists but I would say a bad one or at least a typical one. I mean within his based jokes or whatever u get stuff about his troubles of looking at fat poeple and a couples other stuff that tbh I literally would rather watch vaush. Which I mean sure it was a but ago but it wasn't that long ago.

The concept of not being mean to people who things that don't concern u wasn't new. Carlin was just an oppressive dick. My dad one of the less based people in existance would get into fights without like people for saying ableist shit like Carlin. In fact he prob was fighting kids before Carlin said some of this stuff.

So idk, not really Carlin a bad guy or not a anarchist I just put him at tepid Anarcho Redditor status that I can along stomach bc he's charasmatic. I mean if my legacy is saying some based stuff sometimes, being a multi millionaire, containing about fat people and how feminists complain to much and then in the modern day having an overall extremely agreeable portfolio that basically anyone can pick through clips and reinforce my worldview. I know this bc Carlin is loved in Joe Rogan communities and the white supremacists alt righters at my school fucking loved him.

I mean he died in 2008 so I can def think of options who I would consider vastly better in comparison. Especially bc his real stride seems to be when he was kinda old.

when this started getting posted here i immediately thought of that bit where he calls feminists cum collectors and then spends the rest of the bit talking about how he can’t look at women eating bananas without thinking about them giving him head

and there was no joke there

he just said that

it’s funny that wherever you look groups are claiming carlin as one of their own. he just said enough incendiary things in all directions that every group out there wants to claim a piece of him

In that comedy routine the ending bit about how feminists only care about their wallets and blessed reproductive rights while grabbing his dick. Which wouldn't seem that odd for the skit but later on as I checked a source in wikipedia in his autobiography (I think) he talked about how he was so poor in 1970 his partner got pregnant but they didn't have the money to take care of the kid. And since roe V wade wasn't a think he talked about how his partner had to be blindfolded and taken to some random location for the abortion and he talked about how he can't imagine how horrible it was for her.

So its just like wtf, how could u experience that and then complain about feminists and their reproductive rights. Which is extremely cursed tbh.

I actually watched Carlin recently bc I was feeling kinda shit and laughing physically alleviates a lot of displeasure so I ended up giving it ago. Idk I'm kinda hard to please tho I laugh it I purposefully try to get myself to laugh. So I usually do lusgh at some of the ones I view as punching up so he is in the small list of comedians I actually laugh at. Tho my humor is more internet weirdo and less stand up comic too.

I am just using this as an excuse to talk about what I want to talk about without actually engaging with what you are saying because I am prick or something. (though I think you have a point)

Based u have my full support
