Looks interesting!

I need to organize my readings for this year. I still have stuff from 2021 to read, like the wonderful M.D.C. book and other theoretical tidbits. I want to focus on Reich and building through Foucault, Deleuze& Guattari, Artaud, Roberto Freire, maybe Lacan. I have this crazy idea of doing self therapy, but I need to build theoretical basis I think. If I am not mistaken psychoanalysis is not recognized as a science anymore, so you can study it without academic restrains.

Sounds interesting, keep us updated if possible. The MDC book is my list as well. My surrogate activity crazy idea for this year is writing and theorizing my own connections for a Proudhon-Stirner-Deleuze synthesis, that's how European my anarchism really is.

Thanks for saying so. I can get quite insecure about expressing ideas, it's good to be reminded I'm not just collecting pity points or something over there.

Can I ask why specifically Proudhon-Stirner-Deleuze?

I probably should include Stirner too.

They're my Gödel, Escher, Bach. I can't quite explain how or why yet, other than in narrow specifics and references to already made connections. But the ideas of these three quite often complement each other in fascinating and underexplored ways. It frequently let's things "fall into place", always with fresh implications that have me in a spin. From experience, that's where it's at.

That sounds like an interesting trajectory! I am very curious to hear about your reading of Reich. D&G take a pretty big shit on psychoanalysis/Lacan while drawing from Reich to talk about how it can come to be that people desire fascism, so if you engage that too I'm curious how it goes.

For those curious who are new or don't know, here's the post where I introduced M.D.C's text on raddle.

I think this desire born from my own understanding of how prefiguration of Anarchy will be, and I am feeling the need to understand writers like D&G to articulate all the loose references that touch me in some level. Sure I will try to bring some of it here to discuss, and I wish people who don't understand or don't know any of it to engage bc I think that's how we can bring more simple concepts from these writers.

My interest in Reich is mostly related to the mass psychology of fascism, and In someone dropped Klaus Theweleit's Male Fantasies - I only will need some time to articulate all. And my own desire of self therapy is a powerful fuel..

M.D.C. probably is in a place that I find fundamental and very aligned with my own desires of Anarchism. The big chasm to me is to bring this alive, to build a living praxis on top of this.

Well 2022 sounds like "2020 too" for a reason
