Which methods listed in this document are unsafe? It would be good to know.

What is in those abortion pills?

Found the answer. The pills appear to use the same mechanism as the herbs mentioned in the pamphlet. Block or subdue the egg-uterine wall connection, then stimulate uterine contractions.

The Mifepristone is taken first and blocks the hormones needed to sustain the pregnancy. After 24 hours, the Misoprostol is taken, which relaxes and opens the cervix and causes contractions in the uterus, helping to expel the pregnancy from the body.

I think it is still a better option for most people to use the pills, as they will be safer and have fewer side effects. But the knowledge of how the mechanisms work, and what options exist, is still quite useful.

A while ago I conducted a bit of research about abortion, all that I remember was that some herbal methods that are advertised are overly dangerous. Don't remember any details, sorry.
