I think the "eviction" (i hesitate to call it that loaded word, because this is not the same kind of state violence which the word usually refers to) actually led to very positive changes and internal dialogue not only in Crimethinc's circles, but also in the white north american anarchist discussions generally. There is still a lot of labour to do and movement to make on antiracism within anarchist spaces, but for example i don't think the makeup of the north american george floyd protests (which had and have a considerable anarchist component from what i understand) would be the same without this important (to anarchists, anyway) historical moment centering the issues of whiteness within anarchism in that moment, and making this whiteness an issue seriously discussed and engaged with by a plurality of anarchists going forward.

It was just one small part of a very large process and collective history, however it played its role and has an enduring legacy to the point we are still talking about it on multiple continents.

This isn't to say that I would wholesale agree with everything the APOC participants in the eviction would or did say in their perspective, but i think it was a significant moment for anarchists that undeniably had some positive downstream effects.
