In my state, we directly vote on laws. (Not all, just a handful of initiatives) I always felt like I should vote on those. But then when I did, I got really disappointed in the other people in my state who vote awful (like against gay marriage or emt's getting lunch breaks). Democracy is gross.

Also anarchists: If you don't vote for the nicer Neoliberals, you're directly responsible for the policies enacted by the meaner Neoliberals.
