I'm trying to find a relatively libertarian method of care for those with dementia (or other similar conditions attached to the "elderly" identity), within the typical medical framework, that'd be more likely to appeal to liberals/moderates. Something analagous to unschooling, that kinda presents itself as apolitical, that I could point adult offspring to as an alternative to forcing their parents into institutions. Anyone here happen to know of something like that?
(I would also appreciate anti-political essay recs about dementia or similar things for myself! Or good keywords to use to find them, like anti-psychiatry.)
