Muir’s experiments reveal a tremendous naiveté in the idea that creating a good society is merely a matter of selecting the “best” individuals. A good society requires members working together to create what cannot be produced alone, or at least to refrain from exploiting each other.

the example of breeding psycho hens in the article is a lot like what capitalism does with people.

The communists are going to hate this one. Amadeus_94 I am thinking of you. Give it your standard three point landing & OCD rationing of writing prowess.

The group theory is fascinating. Over the last few days I have been thinking about my idea: "revenge of the betas" in human society. Alpha physical dominance has become much less important due to human social evolution.

Are we going to get bigger & smarter; or will the largest phenotype die off because of an inherent trade-off of brains vs. brawn? Maybe brawn in a scalar sense will readjust to fit a new relative scale which minimizes any wasteful muscle mass and uses this energy to further contribute to intelligence.

Heightened intelligence which is homogenized in a large group of humans with a fairly stable physicality should produce superior people according to this article.

Ziq, did you read the whole article?

No.

Alphas and betas? What kind of creepiness is that? Are you some kind of incel?

EDIT: Skimming the interview, looks like they make an analogy using 'communism's' failure, but they're not talking about communism, they're talking about state capitalism. No one here is going to defend that.

I also had a very hard time trying to read through this thing. I have a fundamental lack of respect for the idea that someone markets themselves as an animal breeder, and runs experiments on them such as those pointed out in the article. I also happen to have recent ancestors who were thought of as property and bought/sold/marketed according to perceived "heritable" traits as well, so there's that.

I like satire. You're brand is more psychoanalytical. Admin type. No, I'm an atriarch with two older children. I would rather jack off than reply much further to your creepy sexual inuendo.
