Bio Markt— I’ve taken hundreds upon hundreds worth of goods here.
I find that the lower level shops tend to employ more LP because of the people it attracts. That’s not to say I haven’t lifted from Lidl, but they employee security guards to walk the aisles and also stand near the exits. Bio Markt, I don’t think the majority of them even have cameras or mirrors.
The one time I’ve been nabbed, after years of this is NY & Berlin, was over some stupid snacks valued at 5€ at a Rossmann, even after I paid for other things.
2 security chased me down the block and physically dragged me back to the store, where I waited for two hours in their office, not knowing my rights nor understanding enough German to know what they were saying to each other. Cops came and now I presume it’s on my record.
Didn’t give a shit at the time, but now I have a visa appointment in December and am scared this will ping when I’m registering.
