Here is the symbolic approach of expressing my beliefs and how each of these items make me the moderate conservative person that I am. I felt like using photography for that certain job. And here they are.

Arc of Triumph: Europhillia- Yes, I love Europe and I've been there. It's a beautiful place with lots of culture and history and its my heritage. Even its classical artworks greatly influence my artwork. I am proud of the European (German, French, Polish, English, Irish) bloodline in me and how it makes me the man I am. It just saddens me that there's an immigration crisis going on there.

The Holy Bible: Christianity- I embrace this as part of my heritage as well, seeing that it plays its part in modern civilization in Europe and America. Its a mix of myth, allegory, and history made by various authors who spread the Word of God. Of course, its not a scientific book. Its meant to teach spiritual truth while teaching people how to go to heaven rather than teach how the heavens function. And I must confess that some Bible stories are a bit as funny as South Park or the Simpsons.

The Cross: Christianity- Its obviously a reminder of how our Martyr and Savior Jesus Christ died for our sis while being brutally executed by the Roman pagans and their pro-pagan sympathizers, including Judas.

Mother Mary: Catholicism- As a Roman Catholic, I believe in the Trinity (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) and that the Papacy started with Jesus declaring his disciple, Saint Peter, as the rock upon which he would found his church. Therefore, I must also revere Mother Mary since she was the one who was to give birth to the Savior in the first place. CHRISTUS INVICTUS.

On the Origin of the Species by Charles Darwin: Evolution- To me, evolution is the best way to observe and explain God's work, seeing that it is supported by fossil evidence provided within our 4.6 billion year old planet. Whenever I think of evolution, I think of a divine being who is behind the scenes of it all. I even find verses that I have evolution connect with, seeing that there isn't anything contradictionary between the two as the fundamentalists and Dawkinites want people to think. I think that Charles Darwin, who ended up becoming agnostic after the death of his ten-year-old daughter, is undoubtly the modern equivilent of the biblical Job and that he should therefore be considered a saint. Of course, evolution is God's idea and it further strengthens my faith in him. At least it makes me free from pagan superstitions like flat earth, creationism, or the idea of people being made from dirt/feces/wood/blood. And what, I ask you, is evolutionary process of natural selection if not the school house of the Lord?

The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence: Democratic-Republicanism- I see the idea of a democratic-republic as a necessity for the establishment of a prosperous nation/empire as well as the basis for Western civilization today. Unlike what fundamentalists and Dawkinites say, the Founding Fathers were actually deists, so they probably believed in God in a more secular way, seeing that the church and government should stay separate. Thus, as an American who supports religious freedom for both secularists and theists, I am proud to say that I am spiritually Catholic and philospohically deist, which means I am a beleiver in Christ who doesn't attend church and still praises him. Besides, most churches today have become perverted Evangelical Protestant nests where greedy pastors take money from their mindless followers (Ken Ham included). Also, I support the 2nd Amendment, which is the right to bear arms. People ought to be more responsible in handling their guns, which is a perfect alternative for rampant gun control. And then there's slavery, which was abolished by Abraham Lincoln under the Thirteenth Amendement and the Emancipation Proclaimation. Of course, the Neo-Confederates can't stand hearing me preach Lincoln.

The Virtue of Selfishness by Ayn Rand: Capitalism/Individualism- Just like democracy, Capitalism is a necessity for the establishment of a prosperous nation/empire as well as the basis for Western civilization today. Innovation through fair competition is what made society evolve and become so technologically advanced in the first place. Now I support Ayn Rand, minus the anti-alturism stuff, since the "alturism" that the people Rand oppose were actually selfish in a very negative way. I also believe that free will/individualism is what makes a person a truly free, enlightened creature as opposed to collectivism, which is an idea supported by pagans, Fascists, Communists, Calvinists, fundamentalists, Scientologists, and New Age spiritualists. If Jesus were still around, even he would praise capitalism and democracy. I mean, if capitalism is truly to survive and become stable, then it must merge with democratic values of fairness, equality, and free will.

Medal: The military- I know this is not a real medal, but it does symbolize my support for the military. After all, most civilizations since the beginning of human history were established by warriors such as the Egyptians, Hitties, Israelites, Greeks, Persians, Celts, Carthaginians, Romans, Chinese, Saxons, Franks, Vikings, Samurai, Templars, and Mongols. Even America was founded by means of warfare (The War of American Independence between 1775 and 1783). Without the greatest of our ancestors, who gave rise to brilliant military minds and brave heroes like Ramses, Cyrus the Great, Alexander the Great, Sun Tzu, Hannibal, Julius Caesar, Ghengis Khan, Charlemange, George Washington, Napoleon Bonaparte, Otto von Bismarck, General Patton, and Winston Churchhill, the how could mankind truly defended itself agaisnt the backward, cannibalistic Neanderthal savages back in the Pleistocene? Think about it. In hoc signo Christus vinces. Also there is Luke 22:36, which may have been what inspired the Jewish Uprising against the oppressive pagan emperors of the Roman Empire:

"Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one."

The Owl: Knowledge- There is an old saying that knowledge is power and I agree with that statement 100%. After all, God favors the bright over the ignorant and he denoucnes those of the ignorant who claim themselves to be wise (Ken Ham included). Without smart people to govern society, we would be living in either primitive huts or very ugly makeshift houses.

Chinese vase: Asian culture- Just as much as I love my European heritage, so too do I take great love in Asian culture. Japanese manga, Confucianism, the Mandate of Heaven, and Asian history (particularly the histories of Japan and China) are what make me so into all of their stuff. :)

Pachycehalosaurus skull bust: Dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals- What can I say? I've loved these ancient creatures made in God's image through evolution since I was a child. my dinosaur favorites are obviously Triceratops, Spinosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, Carnotaurus, Dakotaraptor, and Edmontosaurus. I also love woolly mammoths and giant ground sloths.

You might very well be the blandest person alive. I guess that's some kind of accomplishment.

If Jesus were still around, even he would praise capitalism

I don't think you read that bible very well.

I don't think you read that bible very well.

Catholics don't tend to, else they wouldn't be in an inherently hierarchical church.

I saw an image on here recently, it pictured Jesus speaking to the masses:

"I can't feed and help these people; that would destroy their incentive to better themselves".

That's capitalist Jesus for you.

I find it cringey that people feel the need to justify themselfs by saying what they think jesus would belive.

I find it cringey that people get their beliefs from a bunch of old books tbh. Like they can't form their own thoughts based on actual lived experiences.

I'd argue just as many people form incredibly vile opinions from lived experiences. I don't know what the fuck to do with people who are seething with hate, but getting off the internet and involved in some sort of charitable activity is probably a good start. Maybe MDMA would help too.

just beware though that people to the left are oftentimes also guilty of this. Preticualrly, those who follow straight up by the books Leninism forget a lot of what he wrote was not good, and selectively censor or forget this.

Christianity is not your original heritage, it's a collection of values violently forced upon your forefathers to make them easier to control.

If you really care so much about honoring your heritage, you would be asatro or pagan.

Heathen perspective, you don't get to just pick and choose which of your forebears you honor. You had Christian ancestors who made you who you are too. You don't have to like them, I sure as hell don't, but they're a part of your line whether you like them or not.

e; Taking this argr-ass fuckboy to task though, if you're following the faith of a conquering invader purely because it's the faith of a conquering invader and don't even pretend you aren't, because you've established yourself to be that sniveling and weak, why would your God want anything to do with you? Your faith's not rooted in service to your Lord or to your lineage or your kin, it's rooted in a pathetic and childish fear of being the underdog. You're catholic because you need to be told what to do and how to do it, and somehow you think surrendering that agency in your life makes you better than other folk. Just like Throwaway's got Christian ancestors to acknowledge, you've got Pagan ones who if not for them, you wouldn't even be alive right now to spew this idiotic drivel.

That is true, I'm of course not denying that i am descended from Christian peoples - but there is a good argument to be made that, of the two, paganism is the one most rightfully and truthfully belonging to us, if you are of the conviction that one should follow the beliefs of their ancestors.

My main issue with the argument is that while Christianity is undeniably a colonizing and imperialistic instrument, ancestry in a heathen context cannot be reduced to an ur-culture or a bloodline, and that misunderstanding is what leads to a lot of the racist shit associated with our community.

Your ancestors are the sum of both your ethnic culture and your social culture's histories, and don't just include your direct predecessors, but also adopted family, chosen family, and people who have fought for the causes you hold close to your heart. Kropotkin and Tolstoy are as much our ancestors (assuming you're an anarchist) as Ivar the Boneless or Owain Glyndwr.

I do, personally, believe my personal blend of hiberno-gallic and finno-scandinavian heathenry to be the best way to represent my ancestors into the future, but I believe that chiefly because they most truly represent what I think is moral and right to live by. The Gods of Eire and Gaul, the Aesir and Vanir, and the shamanistic practices of the Finns uphold ideals that are important to me and best represent them in my mind, but they're not unique in holding them. If I thought something like liberation theology better fit my beliefs and ideals, I'd as easily follow that and still be doing right by my lineage.

If it seems that way, it's probably only because Christianity was so much more flamboyant in violently spreading its doctrines, and much better at keeping records of its progress.

It's very likely - in fact, almost certain - that pagans butchered just as many heretics to establish their beliefs as dominant as any other religious tradition did, and the only reason we don't know it is because they didn't keep records. We know for a fact, for example, that ancient European religious practised human sacrifice, and that they used prisoners of war to do so. Who do you think they developed those techniques and practices on, if not nonbelievers in neighbouring tribes?

(It's also likely that even if we did have perfect records, people would probably be moving the goalposts about which traditions really "count" as pagan and which don't.)

Trying to determine what the "true" beliefs of your ancestors was is a waste of time. Even if it were possible to determine, there's probably no valid answer. It's possible that the very first tribal shaman who came up with the very first proto-religious claim used force and threats to get their tribe to go along with them, meaning that if you're ruling out beliefs forced upon your ancestors as not "truthfully belonging" to them, then no beliefs "truthfully belong" to them.

And not only is it a waste of time, it's counterproductive. All it's ultimately doing is separating humans into different "teams" based on bullshit. Who cares whether proto-European pagan beliefs are "rightfully and truthfully" yours and Semitic beliefs are not? We're all just monkeys from Africa in the end anyways.
