I realize I'm very late to the party here, but thanks for this link. I'm relatively new to anarchist ideas - I probably posted it elsewhere, but until a few months ago I thought "anarchist political and economic philosophy" = "I think the ideal society iss depicted in the movie The Road Warrior".

I'm well educated, so I'm not sure if it's a personal failing of mine or a failure of the education system that either anarchism was never discussed except as "madness and chaos" or it was but I don't remember.

It's definitely a kind of failure of the education system, but really it's that the education system is functioning as intended - to exclude the presentation of other ways of living outside of capitalism, to make warped caricatures of them and shallow straw arguments.

To be fair to educators, you don't need to caricature monarchy, feudalism, state socialism, or fascism to present them as undesirable.

As far as I can tell, they just lie about capitalism on one side and anarchism and related topics like parecon.
