If I'm called a 'conspiracy theorist' or something similar when I tell people I don't use google products. It's the most basic step possible to protect your privacy.

Note: use of word "nutjob" is ableist as it is still very much used on people with nonnormative mental states to discredit and attack them

Haha it's like those ready-loaded "triggering" ammunition for anyone who's different. Examples:

Someone who thinks women should have rights -> cuck

Someone who thinks tech can be dangerous -> conspiracy theorist / paranoid

Someone who thinks free market is fallible -> libtard

Someone who thinks people matter -> snowflake

Someone who asks their female friend out for a date but if rejected would be fine with just continuing their friendship -> nice guy

They are easy, one or two word answers which are intended to shut down the discussion.

True...although it's never people with opinions I respect, so I don't find myself personally affected or offended in anyway. I just think it reflects horribly on them.

Tabs vs. spaces. Tabs are obviously the better way to indent code.

If my future self gets into an argument because I made this comment, then I'm sorry, me.

Tabs= readability.

Spaces = stupid emacs purists who think their way is the only way.

Haha.. Yes there is that and stroustrup, Java, python, Linux, bsd and more.

'c-style- alist' variable will show you predefined styles. I would still rather use vim, though vim purists piss me off too.

Oh, that's a good one. Nickelback fans, too.

Serious question: why is Nickelback hated? I am out of the loop.

EDIT: Oh do you mean the fans are insufferable? Like Rick and Morty fans?

When people buy non essentials. Most people have enough money to buy at least some sort of luxury item, but as soon as I see someone with anything new I automatically put them in the fatcat mental box.

I'm rather frugal myself though so maybe it's linked to that.

Last year I lived on essentials only without being able to save a cent, it's depressing to live frugally when it's not a choice, life becomes work and the routine numbs one down. Last year I lived on essentials only without being able to save a cent.

It's the paradox of the poor: as soon as you get money, spend it fast because it will be gone tomorrow! .... then it's gone tomorrow! See what did I tell you?

(Not saying that poor people are stupid but there are some irrational beliefs that all humans have)

It's rational if you make the assumption that there are no long-term options.
