No :(

I'm hoping socialism will have more of a foothold by then and society will take care of the elderly.

So yeah. My plan is hope the state doesn't leave me to starve...

Yes. I am currently living and working in the United $hitholes of Amerikkka. My partner and I are going to move to a less oppressive country and buy some relatively inexpensive stolen land there in a small community. I will build a place and live and work there until I am able to quit my day job.

I am able to do this in part because I have some hard-to-find skills and forced my slave driver to allow me to work 100% remotely.

I will also try to help friends and comrades to escape their indentured servitude and join us. A lot of them do not have any prospects for their futures (or present) so it may not be difficult to persuade them.

I live paycheck-to-paycheck. I have zero security and I don't see that changing as long as I remain in the US. I will probably drop dead before I reach my 40s. So eight years to go.

Haven't given it much thought.

Ideally I figure something out, like an extended interdependent community, by the time I need it.

I'm up for exploring possibilities.

If raddle were to grow, setting up a global mutual aid network would be on the cards.

There's really a lot we could do, and really interesting things could happen. For now I think I'm focusing on making raddle solid and also welcoming.

From there I imagine that projects will pop up organically.

If you ever need an extra developer (CSS, JS & jQuery, Elixir, Python, front-end UI & UX) or just a helping hand, send me a PM. I'd gladly help out where i can.

I won't even live that long, and even if I do, I won't have the required registered work time until I'm much older than the time people usually retire, according to my country's laws. I really don't even think about it.
